Hi,

My name is Angela Chapman and I studied a zoology degree at Aberystwyth University and started my veterinary nurse training in 2001. I qualified in 2003 and if anyone is interested in Vet nursing there is more information on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons website: www.rcvs.org.uk. I am now studying for the diploma in advanced veterinary nursing. I have worked in the same practice for 8 years, which is a very busy, large practice in Bedfordshire. We are a 24-hour emergency practice that provides emergency cover for a number of other practices in the area and work a mixture of day and night shifts. Therefore, get to see a wide range of cases.

I have Libby a 4-year-old Italian Spinone who we’ve had since a puppy and she likes going for long walks and holidays at the beach! I also have two cats, Amber and Zebbie are 6 now and they were brought into the surgery after they had been dumped in someone’s garden in a box when they were about 7 days old. I hand reared them and they have been with us ever since!
